This opportunity is with an enterprise gaming organization undertaking a portfolio of technology assessments. The Senior IT Project Manager will lead discovery and planning across AI governance, an AI agent system of record, and software asset management. The role will work with business and technology stakeholders to define needs, evaluate potential solutions, and develop recommendations and implementation roadmaps. Projects that receive business case approval are expected to progress into implementation.
Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead discovery and assessment activities for enterprise AI and software asset management initiatives. The role will bring structure to complex, evolving requirements and coordinate business and technical stakeholders as they evaluate needs, solution options, risks, and delivery considerations.
Initial projects include an assessment of an agentic AI governance platform, an assessment of an AI agent system of record for Workday, and an assessment of software asset management solutions. The Project Manager will develop business cases and implementation roadmaps, present clear recommendations to executive leadership, and support approval decisions. As initiatives move forward, this person will lead the transition from assessment into implementation planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery and planning across multiple enterprise technology initiatives.

Facilitate interviews and workshops to document business needs, current challenges, desired outcomes, and solution requirements.

Coordinate business and technical experts to assess platforms and vendor capabilities against agreed requirements.

Establish evaluation criteria and organize vendor demonstrations, assessments, and solution comparisons.

Develop business cases covering expected benefits, estimated costs, resource needs, risks, dependencies, and implementation options.

Create project scopes, timelines, governance structures, and implementation roadmaps.

Partner with IT, security, procurement, finance, and business teams to align recommendations with enterprise priorities.

Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items, and maintain clear stakeholder communications.

Prepare executive presentations and support approval decisions.

Lead the transition from discovery into implementation planning and delivery as initiatives are approved.
Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise IT projects involving multiple stakeholder groups.

Experience leading discovery, requirements gathering, technology assessments, and vendor evaluations.

Proven ability to develop business cases and translate findings into actionable project plans.

Strong facilitation, analytical, documentation, and executive communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and establish structure in a fast-moving environment.

Experience partnering with technical subject matter experts to evaluate solutions and identify delivery risks.

Familiarity with project governance, budgeting, resource planning, and change management.
