The Senior Accounting and Finance Executive Recruiter will focus on accounting and finance searches, helping clients fill critical roles through full-time placements and contract assignments.

Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a customer-focused Senior Accounting and Finance Executive Recruiter to source, assess, and place accounting and finance professionals in full-time and contract roles. This recruiter will manage the full hiring cycle, from understanding client requirements through candidate placement, while building effective relationships with both clients and candidates. The position covers a range of professional levels and roles, including staff accountants, controllers, FP&A analysts, auditors, and CFOs. Success requires a strong understanding of accounting and finance talent, effective sourcing across digital channels and professional networks, and the ability to deliver results with urgency and initiative. The role offers autonomy in a firm that values recruiting as central to its success.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit accounting and finance professionals at various levels based on client requirements.

• Build candidate pipelines using social media, job sites and boards, internet sourcing, and networking.

• Interview, evaluate, and assess candidates for positions including staff accountants, controllers, FP&A analysts, auditors, CFOs, and similar roles.

• Manage the full recruiting cycle, from client intake and role requirements through candidate placement.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients throughout the recruiting process.

• Recruit for both full-time placement roles and contract assignments.

• Apply knowledge of accounting and finance roles to identify candidates whose experience aligns with client needs.

Required Qualifications

• At least four years of recruiting experience placing accounting and finance professionals.

• Proven results recruiting candidates across a range of accounting and finance levels.

• Extensive experience sourcing through social media, job sites and boards, internet searches, and professional networking.

• Deep understanding of the accounting and finance industry and its roles, including positions such as staff accountant, controller, FP&A analyst, auditor, and CFO.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients.

• Goal-oriented, results-driven approach to recruiting.

• Strong sense of urgency and initiative in managing searches and advancing candidates through the recruiting process.
