Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking an HRIS Analyst II to support our client’s Benefits and Retirement operations and upcoming project work. This role focuses on Workday configuration for benefit and retirement eligibility, benefit plans, and related deductions across union and non-union populations. The analyst will triage cases, investigate configuration and integration errors, support testing, and work with HRIS, Payroll, Integrations, and Total Rewards to resolve issues. The successful candidate can work independently, interpret complex eligibility requirements, and analyze issues to help drive solutions from requirements gathering through testing and implementation. The position requires hands-on Workday experience across both Benefits and Retirement, including retirement plans and varied employee populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Workday benefit and retirement eligibility rules, plans, and related deductions.

  • Support requirements that apply to union and non-union, as well as salaried and hourly, employee populations.

  • Triage cases, analyze reported issues, and help determine the appropriate resolution.

  • Investigate Workday configuration issues and review integration errors.

  • Troubleshoot inbound and outbound integration issues in partnership with the Integrations team.

  • Support testing activities and help carry requirements through testing and implementation.

  • Coordinate with HRIS, Payroll, Integrations, and Total Rewards to resolve operational issues.

  • Support retirement-related processes involving 401(k) eligibility, RSUs, MSP plans, and Canadian retirement plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on Workday experience supporting both Benefits and Retirement.

  • Working knowledge of benefit and retirement eligibility rules, benefit plans, and deductions.

  • Experience supporting union and non-union populations and salaried and hourly employees.

  • Familiarity with 401(k) plans and retirement plan eligibility.

  • Knowledge of RSUs, MSP plans, and Canadian retirement plans.

  • Ability to triage cases, investigate issues, and support resolution of configuration and integration errors.

  • Understanding of inbound and outbound integrations and the ability to review integration errors.

  • Experience supporting testing and gathering requirements.

  • Ability to work independently, analyze complex eligibility requirements, and help drive solutions through testing and implementation.

  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with HRIS, Payroll, Integrations, and Total Rewards teams.
