The successful candidate will work directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges, identify effective technical approaches, and build solutions that deliver rapid business value. Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a hands-on Full Stack / Automation Engineer to create business-facing applications, internal tools, workflow solutions, and automations for a leading gaming and hospitality organization.

The successful candidate will combine React and JavaScript/TypeScript development with Microsoft technologies, APIs, cloud services, and AI-assisted development tools. This role requires someone who can independently take a business problem from concept through a working technical solution, while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The engineer will determine whether a challenge is best addressed through traditional software development, low-code automation, AI-enabled solutions, or a combination of approaches. Success requires technical curiosity, strong problem-solving ability, rapid iteration, and a focus on delivering maintainable, scalable solutions quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications, internal tools, workflow solutions, and automations.

  • Build modern front-end solutions using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Develop solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint, Azure, and related technologies.

  • Integrate applications and enterprise systems using REST APIs, connectors, and data integrations.

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and define practical technical solutions.

  • Select appropriate approaches using traditional development, low-code tools, AI-enabled solutions, or combined technologies.

  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, coding, debugging, and delivery.

  • Rapidly iterate based on stakeholder feedback and changing business needs.

  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, product, and business teams through testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and enhancement.

  • Build solutions emphasizing simplicity, maintainability, scalability, and speed to value.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on software development experience, with a demonstrated focus on building technical solutions.

  • Professional experience developing applications with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint, and/or Azure.

  • Experience developing or integrating solutions using REST APIs and enterprise data sources.

  • Experience building business applications, internal tools, workflow solutions, or automations.

  • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding or development tools.

  • Ability to take a business problem independently from concept through a working technical solution.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.

  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
