Join a client in the casino and hospitality industry as a Sr. .NET Developer, working onsite in Las Vegas. You’ll develop and deploy software using .NET technologies in a Microsoft Azure environment, contributing to applications where scalability, performance, and reliability matter. The role calls for strong backend engineering skills and the ability to deliver maintainable solutions in collaboration with customers, users, and technical leads. You’ll work across application design, development, testing, and deployment, helping turn business needs into secure, high-quality software.

Position Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a Sr. .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy applications for a client in the casino and hospitality industry. You’ll build multi-tier, object-oriented, and component-based solutions using .NET and C#, with microservices and cloud technologies. The work includes contributing to a high-volume production environment and designing for security, maintainability, scalability, and performance. You’ll clarify requested functionality, assess development options, and collaborate with customers and users to evaluate and estimate application or business process requests. Working with technical leads, you’ll prepare specifications and test plans, create test scenarios, and deliver quality work to agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy multi-tier applications using .NET technologies, including C#.

• Build object-oriented and component-based software, including microservices-based solutions.

• Develop backend services and REST APIs, with attention to scalability and maintainability.

• Design technical solutions that address security, performance, and business needs.

• Develop applications in a Microsoft Azure environment and monitor their adoption by users.

• Use messaging and event-driven approaches where appropriate for distributed applications.

• Clarify requested functionality and recommend development approaches, including cost-benefit considerations.

• Work with customers and users to assess, estimate, and deliver application development or business process changes under a technical lead’s direction.

• Prepare specifications, unit test plans, test scenarios, and scripts; contribute to software quality through testing and debugging.

• Provide timely progress updates and meet internal and client deadlines with high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C#.

• At least five years of experience with .NET Core.

• Experience developing web applications and backend services, including REST APIs.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; the client’s environment uses Azure.

• Knowledge of MAUI Forms or Xamarin Forms.

• Ability to create technical specifications and corresponding unit test plans.

• Strong coding, unit testing, debugging, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of sound software design practices and secure, scalable application development.

• Casino or sports betting experience is a plus.
